| Into The Wilderness complies with Federal Law as it relates to the sale and transport of automatic weapons (i.e. switchblade knives). All customers buying controlled weapons on our website acknowledge that he or she also complies with this law. Reprinted here and on all product pages for our Benchmade automatic knives is the text of this law for your review. Please read it carefully and be sure that you fit one of these categories below before purchasing these items from us!
"IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL STATUTES, Into The Wilderness requests that you read carefully the requirements set forth below, and sign this acknowledgement form prior to your purchase or receipt of any automatic opening knife from our/distributors company.
By placing an order or receiving a Product Service from us for any automatic opening knife product, you agree that you meet any or all of the following criteria established by Federal law:
Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with the following exceptions: - to civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;
- an active Armed Forces member or employee acting in the performance of his or her duty;
- to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National Guard, or militia of a State, Territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in the connection with the activities of such organization;
- to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of an State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory;
- to manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in paragraphs 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Into The Wilderness/distributors will not sell automatic opening knives to any customer unless such sale or receipt of Product Service return is made in compliance with one or more of the above conditions.
(Into The Wilderness Customer/Owner) recognizes and acknowledges that it is our responsibility as the owner, buyer to ascertain and obey all applicable laws (local, state, federal and international) in regard to the possession or purchase of any item from Into The Wilderness.
We hereby represent and certify that our purchase or ownership of automatic opening knives from Into The Wilderness meets one or more of the criteria set forth above and agree to use these knives in connection of duties as described above in sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5."

| For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. However, we use several different warehouses to ship products, so you may receive more than one shipment from us for one order. You will be charged for each parcel that must be mailed out to fulfill your order and this multiple shipping charge will be assessed at checkout. |

| We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, products ship the next business day if ordered by 5:00PM, or by the next business day if your order is received after this time and for orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any major holiday. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order.
Our inventory is updated once every 24 hours. Items may go out of stock during the same business day as your order. Also, if you place an item in your shopping cart and do not complete the purchase within 24 hours, you may run the risk of the item going out of stock as well.
We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping. |

To keep you informed about our latest offers, we may notify you of current promotions, specials and new additions to our product line. You may unsubscribe from our newsletters by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us.
When entering any of our contests or prize drawings, you provide your name, email address and mailing address. If you win, we will send the prize to the address entered and notify you by email. When you enter a contest or drawing you are also included in our newsletter list to receive notice of promotions, specials and new additions to our product line. You may unsubscribe from this news list by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email received.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies: We have a 15-day
exchange or store credit guarantee on all non-defective, non-handmade or
non-custom orders, minus original and return shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee. Custom/handmade sales are final unless damaged. We do not offer full refunds on items unless it is damaged, defective or you received the wrong item from us. Damaged items can be exchanged and/or refunded within 30 days,
with proper Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA)#. Order cancellations must occur within 24 hours of order receipt or they will incur a $10 cancellation fee. Order cancellation fees do not apply to orders that are cancelled due to a mistake that was made by Into The Wilderness or on orders that are waiting on shipping quotes. No fee will be assessed in those cases.
If it is necessary to
return merchandise for a refund or exchange, all merchandise must meet the following
conditions (please call us first to receive your RMA): - Return in original packaging
- Return to warehouse within 15 to 30 days from date
of purchase, see conditions above.
- Copy of receipt enclosed with merchandise
- Enclose a brief letter of explanation
No COD's accepted. All returns for refund paid by credit card will receive a
credit to the credit card.All payments made through Paypal will be refunded to your Paypal account.
When a customer refuses a package or UPS returns the
package, UPS is charging an Undeliverable Package Return Charge. This amount
will be billed to you if applicable.
All products must be in new, unopened condition if it is
being returned for a credit/exchange:
Examples of new, unopened products:

A piece of clothing that still has the tags
attached and/or has not been worn
- ·
A tree stand that has not been assembled
Examples of products that we will refuse:
- ·
A boot with mud on it (has been worn outside)
- ·
A riflescope that has been mounted to a firearm
- · Any shrink wrapped or bubble-packed item that has been opened
Refused items will be shipped directly back to you, and will
not be credited. You will also absorb any and all return freight costs. |

Most orders ship out in 1 to 2 business days from the time of order placement on the website. However, in some cases, such as our hand crank generators and hand made quilts, processing time may be up to two weeks. This will be noted on the product page if this is the case.
Please note that some of our furniture items ship through UPS Freight or by LTL Truck Services and if they weigh more than 30 pounds, will have additional shipping charges assessed AFTER checkout. Expect very large and/or heavy items, such as pool tables, appliances and furniture to ship for upwards of $100. Also, if any item is very fragile (such as the Aladdin lamps) there may be an extra packing/handling charge assessed after checkout to ensure that your item is packed properly, insured, and that it ships alone to avoid transit damage.
We will call you with a ship quote before shipping these items to you to get your approval on all extra shipping charges and you will have the opportunity to cancel your order if the shipping cost is not agreeable to you. If you prefer, you may call ahead and we can tell you EXACTLY what the shipping is before you commit your purchase if it will help you make the decision.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by use or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability or carrier delays.
Insurance: Into The Wilderness gives customers the option of paying for shipping insurance. If you elect not to buy insurance, we will not be responsible for packages that are lost or damaged during shipping.
We ship from multiple warehouses that are located in different areas of the United States. When you order multiple items from multiple warehouses, you will be charged shipping rates on each package from each warehouse. If you notice that your shipping charges are very high, it is most probably this reason. Check the first several letters of the product ID code to see which warehouse your items are coming from (i.e. GS is one warehouse, JB is another, CW is another). To reduce shipping costs, order all your items from the same warehouse.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Into
The Wilderness has partnered with a trusted third-party company, International
Checkout, to fulfill orders for our International customers. Simply put the
items you wish to purchase in our Shopping Cart and choose the "International
Checkout" option. Your items will be transferred to International Checkout
for processing. You may pay by International credit card, PayPal or bank
transfer. International Checkout will process your order, including billing,
shipping and customer service. Once your order is completed, all inquiries
should be directed to International Checkout at support@internationalcheckout.com.
WHICH COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO?
International shipping is currently available WORLDWIDE from Into
The Wilderness. Our third party vendor, International Checkout, will ship to
all destinations around the world including APO
/ FPO addresses.
